Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how GigFire LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("GigFire", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit gigfire.com, sign up for or use our broadband internet, telephone, or television services, communicate with us by text message, email, or phone, or otherwise interact with us. By using our website or services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and identity information — name, service and billing addresses, email address, telephone number(s), and mobile telephone number(s);
  • Account and service information — your account number, services purchased, equipment installed, service-address details, installation history, support tickets, and communications with us;
  • Billing and payment information — billing history, payment method on file (handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors), and credit-check information collected at sign-up where applicable;
  • Network and usage information — IP addresses assigned to your equipment, signal-quality and connection-performance metrics, bandwidth utilization, and equipment status as required to operate and maintain your service;
  • Messaging information — your mobile telephone number, your opt-in consent record, and the content and metadata of text messages you exchange with us;
  • Website information — browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and approximate location (derived from IP address), collected through standard server logs and analytics tools;
  • Information you voluntarily provide — anything you submit to us through web forms, online chat, email, voice calls, in-person visits, or community events.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and bill for our services;
  • Communicate with you about your account, service appointments, outages, and billing;
  • Respond to your support requests, questions, and inquiries through any channel you contact us on (including SMS, email, phone, and chat);
  • Operate, secure, and improve our network, website, and services;
  • Send you promotional or marketing communications about GigFire products and services only where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law, and subject to your right to opt out at any time;
  • Comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, and reporting obligations; and
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our acceptable-use rules.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below.

3.1 Service providers

We share information with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf — for example, billing and payment processing, customer-relationship management, network and field-operations tools, messaging and email delivery, mapping and address verification, and hosted-platform infrastructure. These vendors are bound by contractual obligations to use information only to perform services for GigFire and to protect it consistent with this Privacy Policy.

3.2 Legal and safety

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, warrant, or other valid legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of GigFire, our customers, or others, or to enforce our agreements.

3.3 Business transfers

If GigFire is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy.

3.4 With your consent

We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.

3.5 Mobile information and SMS opt-in data

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subprocessors that support the messaging service (for example, our SMS aggregator and our messaging-platform vendor) is permitted only to the extent strictly necessary to deliver messages you have requested. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the service you have requested, and this consent and opt-in data are excluded from all of the sharing categories above.

4. CPNI — Customer Proprietary Network Information

As a telecommunications provider, GigFire is subject to FCC rules governing the use and disclosure of Customer Proprietary Network Information ("CPNI") — information about the type, technical configuration, location, and amount of use of the telecommunications services you purchase from us. We use CPNI to provide the services you purchase and may use it to market related communications services to you as permitted by 47 C.F.R. § 64.2005. You have the right to restrict our use of your CPNI for marketing — to do so, contact us at helpdesk@gigfire.com or 507-369-6669.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies — including those provided by Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads), Meta (Facebook Pixel), and our live-chat vendor — to understand how visitors interact with the site, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve our services. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

6. Your Choices

  • Marketing email: click the "unsubscribe" link in any GigFire marketing email or contact us using the details below.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any GigFire text message. See our SMS Terms for details.
  • Marketing phone calls: ask any GigFire representative to be placed on our internal do-not-call list.
  • CPNI marketing restriction: see Section 4 above.

These opt-outs apply to marketing communications. Transactional messages necessary to operate your service (for example, outage notices, service-appointment confirmations, billing reminders) will continue even if you have opted out of marketing.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to request a copy of that information in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at helpdesk@gigfire.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against customers who exercise their privacy rights.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as is reasonably necessary thereafter to comply with our legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

10. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may link to third-party sites and services that are not operated by GigFire. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties — please review their privacy policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at gigfire.com/privacy-policy with a revised effective date. If we make material changes that reduce your rights, we will provide notice by email, text message (if you have opted in to messaging), or another reasonable means.
