This Privacy Policy describes how GigFire LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("GigFire", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit gigfire.com, sign up for or use our broadband internet, telephone, or television services, communicate with us by text message, email, or phone, or otherwise interact with us. By using our website or services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We collect the following categories of information:
We use the information we collect to:
We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below.
We share information with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf — for example, billing and payment processing, customer-relationship management, network and field-operations tools, messaging and email delivery, mapping and address verification, and hosted-platform infrastructure. These vendors are bound by contractual obligations to use information only to perform services for GigFire and to protect it consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, warrant, or other valid legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of GigFire, our customers, or others, or to enforce our agreements.
If GigFire is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy.
We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subprocessors that support the messaging service (for example, our SMS aggregator and our messaging-platform vendor) is permitted only to the extent strictly necessary to deliver messages you have requested. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the service you have requested, and this consent and opt-in data are excluded from all of the sharing categories above.
As a telecommunications provider, GigFire is subject to FCC rules governing the use and disclosure of Customer Proprietary Network Information ("CPNI") — information about the type, technical configuration, location, and amount of use of the telecommunications services you purchase from us. We use CPNI to provide the services you purchase and may use it to market related communications services to you as permitted by 47 C.F.R. § 64.2005. You have the right to restrict our use of your CPNI for marketing — to do so, contact us at helpdesk@gigfire.com or 507-369-6669.
Our website uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies — including those provided by Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads), Meta (Facebook Pixel), and our live-chat vendor — to understand how visitors interact with the site, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve our services. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
These opt-outs apply to marketing communications. Transactional messages necessary to operate your service (for example, outage notices, service-appointment confirmations, billing reminders) will continue even if you have opted out of marketing.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to request a copy of that information in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at helpdesk@gigfire.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against customers who exercise their privacy rights.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as is reasonably necessary thereafter to comply with our legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website may link to third-party sites and services that are not operated by GigFire. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties — please review their privacy policies before providing information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at gigfire.com/privacy-policy with a revised effective date. If we make material changes that reduce your rights, we will provide notice by email, text message (if you have opted in to messaging), or another reasonable means.
