These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in text messaging programs operated by GigFire LLC ("GigFire", "we", "us", or "our"). By providing your mobile telephone number to GigFire and opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
GigFire uses text messaging (SMS and MMS) for customer-care purposes in support of our broadband internet, telephone, and television services. Messages we send are limited to:
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages through this program.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive transactional messages on an as-needed basis (for example, when a service appointment is scheduled, an outage is reported in your area, or a payment is processed).
Message and data rates may apply. GigFire does not charge for the messages we send, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each message sent or received in accordance with your wireless plan. Please contact your wireless carrier with questions about your messaging plan.
You can opt in to receive text messages from GigFire by:
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any GigFire product or service.
You can opt out of GigFire text messages at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message we send. After you opt out, we will send one final confirmation message and you will no longer receive text messages from that program. To resume messages, reply START or sign up again.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other communication channels (email, phone, postal mail) and does not affect your GigFire service account.
For help, reply HELP to any GigFire text message, or contact us directly:
GigFire text messaging is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and is subject to carrier coverage in your area.
Information you provide to GigFire in connection with our text-messaging programs — including your mobile telephone number and the content of messages you exchange with us — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information may be shared with our subprocessors and service providers only as required to deliver the messaging service (for example, our messaging-platform vendor and our SMS aggregator). Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the service you have requested.
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and a resident of the United States to opt in to GigFire text-messaging programs. By providing your mobile number you represent that the number is yours or that you have authority to opt that number in to receive messages.
We may modify these SMS Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted at gigfire.com/sms-terms with a revised effective date. Material changes that reduce your rights will be communicated by text message or other reasonable means.
